The benefits of joining the Foundation include demonstrating your commitment, pride and support for the San Diego State University rugby team. By becoming a Foundation member your vote will count towards shaping the governing board of the Foundation and charting its course. Donating to the Foundation is easy and all individuals or businesses can contribute.

The Foundation is organized under the Nonprofit Corporation Law for charitable purposes. We are exempt from Federal Income Tax as a non profit 501 (c) (3) public charity designation. All donations to the Foundation are tax deductible. There is a dues structure in place to become a voting member of The Foundation, however donations of any size will be accepted. Dues structure for voting members are as follows:

Rookies: If you are 1-3 years removed from post participation with the SDSU Rugby team the initial dues are: $120.00 for the first year. After the 3 years, the dues will be $240.00 each year to continue the membership.

Full Members or Supporters: If you are 3+ years removed from post participation with the SDSU Rugby team or just supporter of SDSU Rugby initial dues are: $240.00 for the first year and $240.00 each year afterwards.

Business Leaders: Advertising opportunities are available for you on our website and electronic newsletters. Financial consideration for your advertising is based on longevity of the advertisement run and size of your advertisement. Opportunities are available starting at $500.00. Hyperlinks from your website will then be directly linked to ours and the electronic newsletters. The website must be appropriate for our member base, the community and comply with all U.S. laws.

Legacy 100: As previously announced, this program is the Foundation's primary fundraising effort to build a financial base of 100 alumni each with a $1000.00 contribution. You will receive all the benefits of a normal membership plus your name will be posted on our letterhead, in our electronic newsletters and within the Legacy 100 within this website.

Additionally, as an Aztec Rugby Foundation Member member you will also receive exclusive Aztec Rugby Foundation Apparel.
