JC began his playing rugby his senior year at Piner HS in 1993. After being selected to the U-19 Pelicans he gave up football pads to scrum with the Aztecs. He was selected to the Griffins starting as a sophomore and continuing until he made the All-American squad as a senior. He later went on the play for OMBAC for three years, where he was selected to the men’s Griffins in each of those years. JC then moved back to the Bay Area where he now plays for the Olympic Club, taking 3rd place in the last two DI championships.

JC graduated from SDSU with an undergraduate degree in statistics. He later went on to get his masters in organizational management from UOP. He currently works for A-Check America as a regional account manager.

A Bay Area native, JC currently lives in Cotati, CA with his girlfriend, Patrizia, of six years and her son David. JC also is an assistant coach for Elsie Allen HS in Santa Rosa.
